Mary Ann Scott - art inspirations and experiences
“The artist and the photographer seek the mysteries and the adventure of experience in nature”
If indeed life is about the journey not the destination, I believe we are shaped by how we choose to interpret our life’s experiences. The more we dare to experience, the more we learn. Art is an expression of our personal experiences at a point in time. By expressing our feelings about these experiences through a creative process, we explore, expand, and honour their existence, ultimately learning more about ourselves.
Some of my favorite inspirations are nature, trees, water, clouds and landscapes. I am also fascinated by patterns, textures and colour.
